Wellness check

I'm feeling adaquetely prepared should the Texas Panhandle have an outbreak of influenza--I received my flu shot today. I'm quite proud of myself. I don't like needles, but I really don't like being sick. I also went for a wellness screening today. I received a bone density screening, had my body mass calculated, and had a blood panel taken. It was all totally free covered on my insurance plan...so was my flu shot...I love free things! So the bone density screening wasn't the fancy full body scan type thing...it was just the heel test. It made me aware that my bones are low. I'm taking a vitamin with calcium in it, but I suppose I'll be loading up on my leafy greens since milk makes me gag. The body mass index...ick, no need to discuss.
